We can conclude that explanation text is a text that explains the way or process of something happened,especially those related to natural phenomena,the scientific world,or socio-culturalThe purpose of explanation text :

– Explanation is a text which tells processes relating to forming of natural, social, scientific, and cultural phenomena

– To explain how or why something happens

Generic structure of Explanation

1. General statement; stating the phenomenon issues which are to be explained

2. Sequenced explanation; stating a series of steps which explain the phenomen

3. (Closing); atually this is not mentioned in explanation text, however, many people think that the last of paragraph is clossing, in which it is actually part of sequenced explanati
