How are you today? I hope all of you guys still healthy in this pandemic. So today we will discuss about exposition text. As usual, i will explain what is exposition text, when we can use the text, the characteristic, etc. So, what are we waiting for? Let's check this out!
Exposition Text
What is exposition text? Exposition text is a text that contains a persuasive and can convince readers of an opinion expressed by the author on a problem or issue that is being discussed. Beside the opinion, exposition text can also contain the writer's arguments. Exposition text can makes pros and cons about the issues. Of course, this text serves as a means for writers to express opinions along with their arguments in discussing a problem or issue.
There are two types of exposition text :
Analytical Exposition, This text contains the writer's opinion about an event that is strengthened by the author's argument. This type of text is only a means for the author to express his personal opinion, not to change the point of view of the readers.
Hortatory Exposition, This text also contains the writer's opinion on an issue or problem. The difference is that in this text the author seems to force the readers to agree and even follow his opinion. So, this text tries to divert the reader's point of view with various arguments made by the writer.

The importance of breakfast
Why is breakfast important? “Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dine like a Pauper” It’s a well known phrase, but do you follow it?
Breakfast provides many benefits to our health and wellbeing. Breakfast provides the body and brain with fuel after an overnight fast – that’s where its name originates, breaking the fast! Without breakfast you are effectively running on empty, like trying to start the car with no petrol!
Breakfast support cognitive function. Breakfast also restores glucose levels, an essential carbohydrate that is needed for the brain to function. Breakfast provides energy, studies have shown how eating breakfast can improve memory and concentration levels and it can also make us happier as it can improve mood and lower stress levels.
Breakfast provides energy needs. People’s energy needs vary depending on activity levels and life stage but typically men require more energy than women. Growing children require a lot of energy, as an example boys aged 7-10 years should consume approximately 1970 kcals per day, and girls aged 7-10 years should consume approximately 1740 kcals.
